Ethical and Effective Fundraising: AFP-WNC proudly presents its 17th annual Philanthropy Institute bringing a comprehensive selection of educational workshops to the development professionals of western North Carolina and neighboring communities. We’re looking forward to seeing you on July 20th!
The 2011 Philanthropy Institute offers 3 tracks of educational topics:

* Maximizing the Size of Your Gifts: Asking for the Right Amount – with Alex Comfort

* Got a Plan? – with Tracy Proctor
* Financial Compliance for Nonprofits
Professional Development – including the following sessions:
* Situational Leadership – Matching Leadership Style to Development Level – with Donna Pierce
* Executive Director Panel – Making the Transition – Should you Become an Executive Director?
* Avoiding Burnout – with Karen Cottingham
Our lunchtime workshop will be a hands-on roundtable style session about Ethics by Kelly Brandon, CFRE; Sana Efird, CFRE; and Annie Fritschner, ACFRE.
