Monthly Luncheons occur on the third Wednesday each month typically at the Renaissance Asheville Hotel located at 31 Woodfin Street, Asheville, North Carolina from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The March Luncheon will be held at a different venue to accommodate the popularity of the program while the Renaissance is undergoing renovations. Registrants will be emailed once the venue has been selected.
Program pricing is $16 for members and $25 for non-members. Interested in learning more about ways to save on monthly programming? Check out our member benefits page.
If you have an event or training opportunity to announce, please bring flyers for luncheon tables.

WNC Nonprofit Pathways: A Unique Resource for Your Organization
Presenters: Jeannette Butterworth, Program Consultant, WNC Nonprofit Pathways & Lance Edwards, Vice President, Community Investment, United Way of Asheville Buncombe County
We are fortunate to have this wonderful organization in our region and this month is an opportunity to learn more about WNC Nonprofit Pathways, why the organization exists, and how its resources could be helpful to you in your role. Their aim is to meet nonprofits where they are, helping each organization recognize their current strengths and needs, and identify next steps to move to the next level.
You will learn about the ways in which they help nonprofits:
Workshops and events are open to all WNC nonprofit staff, board members, and volunteers. Register for a class to learn key nonprofit management skills and concepts, take part in a webinar, get to know other committed nonprofit leaders in the region, and go back to your organization with some clear next steps for how to put what you’ve learned into practice.
These services are designed to help mature nonprofits become stronger in a variety of areas. We can help you identify your strengths and challenges in the Four Core Capacities of nonprofit effectiveness, and get moving on the cycle to improve your organization’s sustainability.
March Luncheon attendees are invited to register a guest at no cost. Please use this guest registration link. Please know their meal preference and email address at the time of registration. This is a great opportunity to introduce a co-worker, staff member, volunteer, or board member to AFP WNC and Nonprofit Pathways, a great area resource for nonprofits.
