Nominations Now Open for National Philanthropy Day Awards
Asheville, NC — The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Western North Carolina Chapter is now accepting nominations for 2020 National Philanthropy Day Awards, which will be celebrated this November. The deadline for nominations is Friday, August 28th.
National Philanthropy Day is a special day to recognize and pay tribute to the great contributions that philanthropy – and those active in the philanthropic community – make to our lives, communities and world. Each November, the Association of Fundraising Professionals Western North Carolina Chapter celebrates the importance of philanthropy and recognizes those who are doing extraordinary work in our community.
- Nominations for recognition of outstanding philanthropic work can be made in the following categories:
- Outstanding Philanthropist
- Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser
- Outstanding Fundraising Executive
- Outstanding Business in Philanthropy
- Outstanding Youth Philanthropist
- T. Kennon Roberson Management Excellence in Nonprofit Health and Human Services
